The mural is about Manchester and its music, its history, and the industries that built it. The design’s busy and a bit chaotic, like the city itself. Nomad Clan wanted it to feel fun and full of movement, like a proper reflection of the energy of Manchester’s music scene. This mural is a nod to the roots of the city, the diversity of the music that has come out of Manchester and how far that music has travelled.

The Auction
At the end of Music for the Senses the decorated guitars will be auctioned to raise money to support grassroots music projects and venues throughout Greater Manchester via a dedicated music fund managed by our charity partner Forever Manchester, in collaboration with Manchester Music City.
The auction takes place on Friday 12 September at the Hallé St Peter’s in Ancoats, Manchester. Register your interest now in attending.
