Step inside Lazerian’s Cathedral of Sound – a show stopping installation built from hundreds of reclaimed acoustic guitars, reimagined into a living, breathing sanctuary of sound. This architectural pavilion acts as a tribute to Manchester’s rich musical heritage while embracing its evolving sonic future. It appears in St Peter’s Square (7–20 July), then moves to Mayfield Park (25 July–31 August).

The Auction
At the end of Music for the Senses the decorated guitars will be auctioned to raise money to support grassroots music projects and venues throughout Greater Manchester via a dedicated music fund managed by our charity partner Forever Manchester, in collaboration with Manchester Music City.
The auction takes place on Friday 12 September at the Hallé St Peter’s in Ancoats, Manchester. Register your interest now in attending.
