The design pays homage to the legendary Jimi Hendrix, who performed in Manchester in 1967 at the New Century Hall and the University’s Students’ Union, and visited the iconic Twisted Wheel Club after his New Century Hall gig. It features Hendrix iconography, gig ticket snippets, and old newspaper images and headlines, capturing the essence of his impact on Manchester’s music scene.
