The Bread Shed, Grosvenor Street

This mural was created to mark the 30th anniversary of the death of Nirvana lead singer Kurt Cobain. Nirvana played two gigs in the city, not far from the site of the mural on the side of The Bread Shed, off Oxford Road. The mural is based on a photograph by Mark Webb/Avalon, and it was commissioned by Headstock, a music and mental health social enterprise to raise awareness of mental health charity SHOUT.
