Inspired by the Stone Roses, this design mirrors guitarist John Squire’s technique, echoing the band’s Jackson Pollock-inspired artwork. The guitar is divided into sections, each reflecting elements of these pieces, with similar colours and styles. Resin-cast lemons, referencing the band’s imagery, replace the guitar’s original knobs. Artist and illustrator Tim Sutcliffe, first heard the Stone Roses while working at a set-building company in Manchester and has been a fan ever since.
