‘Throwing Shapes’ refers to dancing in a confident and expressive way. Inspired by the artist’s bee from Bee in the City, this design celebrates Manchester’s vibrant nightlife culture, the exhilaration of expressive dance, and the experience of losing oneself in music. It also pays homage to the iconic Haçienda stripes, a symbol of the city’s legendary club scene.

The Grand Auction
At the end of Music for the Senses the decorated and musician donated guitars will be auctioned to raise money for the Forever Manchester Grassroots Music Fund.
The fund will support grassroots music projects and venues throughout Greater Manchester.
The auction takes place on Friday 12 September at the Hallé St Peter’s in Ancoats, Manchester with online bidding also available now.
