Today we’re exploring the trail around St John’s/Spinningfields, with a hop over to the latest addition to the trail which can be found at Great Northern!

🎸 The New Order Guitar installation has been created by Jackson & Malcolm. It features a Fender Telecaster which has been donated and signed by members of @neworderofficial. It is fittingly displayed in Aviva Studios home of Factory International as reference to the band’s gig at Manchester International Festival in 2017.

🎸 Music is Hope by @_ellamasters_ is inspired by Ella’s autistic daughter, who thrives while listening to music. Her grandfather, who ran Legends in Warrington in the ‘90s, loves to share music from The Stone Roses and The Fall while they dance together in his music room.

🎸 Manchester’s Guitar @mcrsguitar_ is a handcrafted masterpiece, built in Manchester by Martyn Heeks. With over 300 hours of craftsmanship, every curve and detail reflects the city’s character.

🎸 Throwing Shapes by @kimhubball is inspired by the artist’s own bee from @wildinart’s Bee in the City and pays homage to the iconic Haçienda stripes, a symbol of the city’s club scene.

🎸 The mural of @dj_paulette1 by @akse_p19 is the latest of murals by the artist to decorate the city.

Thank you to our partners and guitar hosts @manchester_fashion_week, @factory_international, @gnwmanchester, @phmmcr, @abc.buildings, @sidestreetmcr.
