These will lovingly be repurposed to help form a show-stopping sculptural installation which you will be able to visit as part of the Music for the Senses art trail.

As part of Music for the Senses, forty guitars featuring the faces of grassroots artists stencilled on the back by artist Liam Hopkins (@lazerian_studio) will hang in a public art exhibition as part of `Guitar Street` on King Street for the duration of the trail.
Musicians can register their interest via email and then names will be drawn out of a guitar case to decide who`s faces will feature. You don`t have to be a guitar-based musician to be involved, we welcome every genre!

On 7 July, Manchester will be transformed by a major art trail showcasing decorated guitars created by professional artists, guitars donated by Manchester music icons and famous faces, immersive music installations, vibrant murals and more 🎶

At the end of the trail, the guitar artworks and donated guitars will be auctioned to raise money to support grassroots music projects and venues throughout Greater Manchester via a dedicated music fund managed by our charity partner Forever Manchester, in collaboration with Manchester Music City.
